CRETUS has completed the selection process for its 2026 Research Initiation Scholarships, awarding all 20 available scholarships.
This initiative, aimed at fostering master’s students’ first experience in research at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, will allow the selected candidates to join ongoing research projects at CRETUS for one month.
During their placements, the scholarship holders will work under the supervision of CRETUS Principal Investigators (PIs), taking part in scientific activities while gaining valuable academic and professional experience in a research excellence environment.
The placements has started in July with 12 scholarships awarded, and to be continued in September (5 scholarships) and October (3 scholarships), reaffirming CRETUS’ commitment to training the next generation of researchers and promoting young talent.
