Yesterday, December 11, the director of the Hydrobiology Station «Encoro do Con» Fernando Cobo and the head of the Laboratory and Quality, Sandra Barca, collected the «European University Prize for Quality» during the V European University Quality Conference held in Madrid.
The purpose of these awards is to recognize, encourage and enhance the development and exchange of good practices in universities and educational institutions, national and international, both in quality management and in the search for efficiency and excellence in management.
The good practice for which the EHEC was awarded is based on the critical analysis of the impact on the society of the Station’s activity, through the analysis of information in the media, as a diagnostic tool for the degree of achievement of The objectives of social commitment.
