CRETUS seeks to incorporate a predoctoral researcher to work on a multidisciplinary project entitled “Improved oil extraction by controlling viscosity at the interface”. The researcher will work with the Sustainable Separation Processes (EQUIFASE) group in collaboration with the Nonlinear Physics Group (GFNL)
Candidates: Degree in Chemical / Chemical / Physical Engineering with Master in Environmental Engineering / in Chemical Research and Industrial Chemistry / or in disciplines compatible with the study.
Work to be done: Define and test different aqueous formulations capable of maximizing the crude recovery of oil reserves through induced viscosity changes at the laboratory level. Perform process simulations.
