Although the official inauguration will not be until a few months later, on October 14, the first meeting with all the members of the new CRETUS Institute was held at the ETSE. A total of 51 researcher incorporations from 17 USC research groups from different scientific fields.

The presentation and welcome of the new CRETUS researchers, the review of the activities carried out in the past year and the presentation of the actions planned for 2019-2020 were some of the topics discussed at the meeting. After the welcome and presentation of the current situation of CRETUS by its coordinator Juan M. Lema, the coordinators of the Committees of Knowledge (Carmela Monterroso), Talent (Carmen G. Jares) and Innovation and Society (Óscar Rodil) presented the lines of work and actions to perform.
