Sustainable Separation Processes Group
The group began its activity in 1985. It is formed by 2 professors, 1 professor, 1 professor hired doctor, 1 interim professor of substitution and 3 researchers in training. The group is working with ionic liquids at room temperature (RTIL) as new extraction solvents within the concept of Green Chemistry. In recent years (2009-2018) its scientific production can be summarized in 113 SCI publications (76 QI), 10 doctoral theses, 1 International Network, 15 projects, 7 patents and over 100 presentations at international conferences. Since 2012 it is recognized as a potential growth group (CPG).
