A solution against illegal archaeological excavations? Assessing old and new technologies

This workshop organised within COST Action CA24119 (CPP4ALL), contributes to the objectives of Working Group 2 (WG2), which focuses on technological solutions for detecting and preventing illegal archaeological excavations. Hosted by the Centre for Cross-disciplinary Research in Environmental Technologies (CRETUS), Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, and locally organised by Jaime Almansa-Sánchez, the workshop will bring together experts to assess existing solutions, identify gaps and discuss future directions for the protection of archaeological sites.

The outcomes of the meeting will contribute to the preparation of the WG2 report and help define the next steps of the working group.
