Landscapes and Soils of Northwest León

From June 19th to 21st, the northwest of León (El Bierzo, Laciana, and Babia) will host the 15th event of the Galician Territorial Delegation of the Spanish Society of Soil Science (SECS), chaired by CRETUS researcher Xosé L. Otero, with Juan Antelo as secretary. Organized by the Galician Territorial Delegation of SECS, along with CRETUS and other collaborating entities, the event will include technical visits to Las Médulas and the Babia and Laciana Valley Biosphere Reserves. The visits will address topics such as glaciation, landscape evolution, post-fire erosion mitigation, and soil classification, fostering the exchange of scientific knowledge on the conservation and management of soil and land resources.
