Presage Training School
20 May, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 23 May, 2024 @ 5:00 pm

The Training School “Addressing contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in advanced wastewater treatment configurations” organised in the frame of PRESAGE Project in colaboration with Holiwater Network, both coordinated by CRETUS researchers, will be held at the School of Engineering (ETSE) and the Center of Research in Biology (CIBUS) in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), during 20-23rd May 2024.
The course is mainly oriented to PhD students that are working on topics related to the monitoring, treatment, or assessment of CECs in wastewater. The course will contribute to a broader knowledge on how different types of contaminants, such as organic micropollutants (OMPs), antibiotic resistant microorganisms/genes (ARMs/ARGs) and pathogens, should be adequately addressed in new wastewater treatment schemes.
The course (32h) will be held in English and combine lectures, practicum, and transversal skills. Concerning CRETUS, a total of 9 researchers will participate as lecturers.
