Bio
In 1979 I graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela. In 1980 I held a position as a hired Professor, in 1987 I won the position of Full Professor in the Methodology Area, which I held until December 2010, when I took office as University Professor.

Since 1985, when I defend the doctoral thesis, my research activity has focused on both specifically methodological issues and applied to different fields of psychology. The work carried out has been recognized by the National Commission for Evaluating Research Activity (CNEAI), with the granting of 5 six-year research periods corresponding to the period 1983-2013. I have participated in a total of 17 research projects in which my work has focused mainly on methodological issues (research design, data collection and analysis, and discussion of results). In addition to specific collaborations in research carried out with professors from this or other faculties and universities, most of my research follows 3 lines of research: Construction and adaptation of tests and scales, individual differences in reasoning and eating disorders. The result of the work in these 3 lines has resulted in: 28 articles, 4 book chapters, 5 research projects, 5 doctoral theses and 35 communications to congresses.
