THERMOPHYSICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF FLUIDS
- Determination of physical properties: density, viscosity, rheological behavior, surface and interfacial tension, refractive index.
- Determination of thermal properties: decomposition temperature, thermal events.
ENZYME PRODUCTION
- Enzyme production at flask and bioreactor scale (100 mL to 30 L).
- Solid-state fermentation.
DESIGN, ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT PROCESSES
- Use of alternative solvents (ionic liquids and eutectics) in separation processes
- Vapor-liquid equilibrium for distillation processes. Applications: solvent recovery, azeotrope breaking.
