Bio
Vicente Pérez Muñuzuri has been a full professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela since 1998 and was Director of MeteoGalicia (regional meteorological service dependent on the Xunta de Galicia) during the period 2000-2014. He has edited three books, two special issues of an international magazine and has published more than 100 articles in international magazines (SCI), in addition to giving more than one hundred conferences. He has been principal investigator of several national and international projects. He is currently involved in projects related to nonlinear physics and geophysical fluid dynamics including meteorological and oceanographic modeling. In recent years, it is worth mentioning my involvement, as Director of MeteoGalicia, in the coordination of the RAIA Oceanic Observatory of the Galicia – Northern Portugal Euroregion, financed through various Interreg projects.
