Scientifc Advisory Board Meeting
18 julio, 2018

Advanced Studies Centers. Santiago de Compostela
Objective: Present CRETUS to the Scientific Committee and prepare the SWOT analysis (weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats)
CRETUS researchers meet for the first time with their Scientific Advisory Board. The two-day day had two clear objectives, on the one hand to know each other and on the other hand to obtain from the committee a report that helps the group to identify their weaknesses, strengths, opportunities and threats.
For this, on the first day the groups involved presented their capacities and lines of research to the committee individually. Based on this, the Scientific Advisory Board met to prepare a SWOT analysis that was presented to all CRETUS researchers on the second day.
The Scientific Advisory Board is made up of 6 expert scientists from 6 different institutions: Manel Poch (U. of Girona), Huub Rijnaarts (Wageningen University, The Netherlands) Ligia Barna (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) Tolouse, France), Rosa Poch (U. de Lleida), Carlos Borrego (U. de Aveiro, Portugal) and Mira Petrovic (ICRA, Girona).
The meeting took place on July 18 and 19 at the Center for Advanced Studies of the University of Santiago de Compostela and was attended by all the groups involved in CRETUS.
