Seminary: Unraveling Important Wastewater Treatment Bacteria

A seminar given by Dr. Jorge Padrão of the University of Minho (Portugal) will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 4:00 p.m. in the ETSE Project Classroom.

The objective of this seminar is to present the importance of identifying the role of some bacteria in wastewater treatment plants and the different techniques used for this at the University of Minho

Jorge Padrão has a degree in applied biology (2006) and a Doctor of Chemistry and Biological Engineering (2014). He is currently a researcher and deputy director of the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory at the Center for Biological Engineering, University of Minho.
